Candyfest!

Tonight we went to Candyfest at our church. There was so much stuff to see. There were lots of fun game booths, inflatables, hay rides, animals, movies on a big screen outside, and lots and lots of candy! Mommy made me this cool fireman costume. This is the best picture of me. All the rest are of my backside walking away. I had things to discover and didn't want to stand around and pose for pictures. I'm sure you understand.

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to Mark's Mellon Patch to see the pumpkins! I tried and tried and tried and tried to get a picture of Jacob facing me but he was too busy being on the move. I swear I must have deleted 35 pictures of the top of his head or of him walking/running away. Oh well. He had a blast and tried to eat some rocks while we were there.

Another word maybe??

We've been listening to Jacob say "car" for about 3 months now! So it's time for a new word right....When we read books to him, we point to animals and make him find them, etc. We also make the sound so now when Jacob sees a "doggie" - he sticks his tongue out and pants. I'm trying to get video of it, but he doesn't do it very often. Stay tuned.

Tomorrow we're off to Warner Robins to see Hank's band in a competition. Supposed to be a beautiful day and we're excited to see some bands! I'm sure Hank will try his hardest to concentrate on the kids - but it will be hard as the Florida/Georgia game will start just about the time they take the field. Funny how we always end up at a competition on FL/GA weekend. Oh well.

Georgia Peanut Festival

Today we went to the Georgia Peanut Festival. If you don't know, Georgia grows tons of peanuts. This dinky town down the road is where ConAgra Foods is, and they make Peter Pan and Great Value (Wal-Mart) brand peanut butter. YUMMY :) So - we decided to check it out. While there we tried a grilled PB&J which was really good. They also had samples of seasoned peanuts and the oh so gross boiled peanuts (soooo stinky and disgusting IMHO).

So for lunch Hank got a "beetle burger" from this cool BBQ.... This is where I sampled some flavored peanuts...

This is the Peter Pan racecar; since Jacob LOVES cars we had to check it out. And yes he said "oooo car"...

A tired little Jacob had a great time as did his mommy and daddy...

Camping is Fun!

Watching daddy set up the tent.. Having my morning milk...
An afternoon nap in the shade...

I LOVE my new flashlight... just like my Papaw... he likes flashlights too!

Mommy and daddy put me in the tent so I would stay out of stuff while they tried to pack up.... I didn't like it too much - but couldn't figure out how to get out of the tent... Just wait till next time when I'm bigger - I'll show em!

As daddy tore down the tent, I decided to pound the stakes back in for him.

New Tent

We're going camping next weekend!!! We are quite excited. After many fun camping trips in the old Carter tent, we finally got a new one. It's quite large and Hank can even stand in the center of it. We put it up today to check it out and seal the seams. Jacob had just woke up from his nap and we went out to see daddy in the tent. He seemed to like exploring it. Next weekend should be great fun.

Sunday Jacob looked really cute (as always) for church. When we got home, I tried and tried to get some pictures but he wouldn't pose or stay still at all! Ugg. Finally got a good one under the stairs - it's a bit dark - but cute. I put new pics on his website too.

A Day at the Park

Today daddy had the whole day off!!! Mommy found this great park so we went. I had so much fun climbing on stuff and getting dirty. I also did alot of swinging. The camera died so there are no pictures of that - but here's some of the other stuff I did. I can't wait to go back!

Fun trip to Savannah

Hi everyone! Mommy and me made it back from our trip to Rincon. I had so much fun. Mommy's friend had a baby shower and there were all kinds of other kids there to play with. I played with 10 month old twins Louis and Jack and 3 year old Alex. Alex has a train table that was too cool! Then on yesterday after church we went to my friend Teddy's house and we played with all his toys. It was fun playing with other kids and new toys. Now that I'm walking around, it's alot more fun getting into stuff. Miss Melissa took these pictures of me with her awsome camera. Mommy is going to put the rest on my website later today so check my picture pages for all the pictures from our trip and some from the past few weeks too.

A little trip

Hello all! Tomorrow Jacob and I are taking a little trip back to Rincon (Savannah) to go to a friend's baby shower. We'll be back home Sunday afternoon. Jacob will get to see his friends Alex and Teddy so I hope to get a few cute pictures while we're there. Have a great weekend everyone!

I love my bear

I love my bear. I got him for Christmas and he's been sitting in my room until this week. I decided he needed to come play in the living room. I like to lean on him, throw him on the floor, squish him and sit on him. He's alot of fun. I need to give him a name. Any suggestions?

My new tub

We finally got Jaob a bigger tub. We knew we had to upgrade when he could basically stand up in the baby tub, crawl out of it, pick it up and walk away with it :) We just kept putting it off. Oh well. He really likes it. We got him this little hippo on a jet ski that you pull the string and it cruises around in the water.

In other Jacob news....he's walking/running all over. We are trying to teach him to walk from the car into the house. We put him down from the car and he heads for the door - then gets sidetracked and wants to rome free heading for the street. He does it every time. Then you try to "guide" him where you want him to go and he protests. It's funny at times and a pain at others; especially when you are in a hurry. Oh well - he's a toddler finding his way in the world. We're still awaiting some more words from him. He still likes to just oooo and ahhhh at things and grunt. He does tell everyone he sees "hi!" when we're out though. He's very friendly and likes to flirt.

Friday Night Lights

Tonight I went to my first football game of the season. This is my cool band "show" shirt for daddy's band. The show this year is from the Broadway musical "Wicked" and daddy says it's the coolest band shirt he's ever had! Oh - and I also wore my cool new Gator hat..

When we got to the stadium, I figured out how to climb immediately. We don'thave stairs at home, so mommy didn't know I could do this until tonight. It was sooo much fun getting all dirty! My knees and hands were black once we got home.

The band was playing the pregame show and I had to dance!
