New Traditions

This year my sis-in-law sent us a cool "turtle" cookie cutter. Since Grammy always loved turtles, we decided to start a new tradition and make Christmas Turtles each Christmas from now on. Jacob had a blast cutting them out and making them green. He had even more fun eating them afterwards. Merry Christmas everyone!

After we finished the turtles, we made Christmas star cookies and I made this awesome apple-praline-pecan bread YUMM :)

Jacob's Christmas Programs

Jacob was in two Christmas programs this past week. The first one was last Friday at his school. The program was called, "Show and Tell Christmas." He LOVES to sing the main song: "Show and tell the Christmas story, Show and tell it today!" Cute.



He was a sheep.


Then on Sunday, he sang next to the Christmas tree at church with his "Play and Praise" class. They sang "Silent Night" and "Away in a Manger."

Jacob LOVES to sing Christmas Carols! He had two Christmas programs this week -- one at school and one at church. Pics and videos from those are coming. Meanwhile, he decided to practice in the backseat of the car tonight. I grabbed my phone to record it. The video quality is no good, but the audio is what counts. Enjoy!

Handsome

It finally got cold enough to bundle up on Sunday for church. I've had this coat for a year now and it finally fits! Thanks mom and dad for the very smart shoes too :) If we can't get a family picture together that is decent, this may be our Christmas photo this year.
