Pickin Berries

Today was our annual trip to the strawberry patch. They had this old tractor and Jacob loves to climb on tractors :)

Our spring break project: fix up an old swing set

Dad and I went to work this week fixing up an old metal swing set. Anyone who has been to the playground with Jacob knows that he LOOOOOOVES to swing, so we knew this would be a popular addition to our back yard.

BEFORE:

First step: Remove the old 2-person swing

Obviously, a new coat of paint is in order:

We sanded it down, marked where to dig, then moved it out of the way:

The next day, we hung the swings, and Jacob gave it a test run:

Then we found a SQUARE tire swing at the toy store. It's cool!

Jacob really likes his "new" swings! He may never leave the back yard again!
