Jacob and I did a little art project for the boys art. Pinterest helped, but it was mostly our idea. We decided what we wanted to do and Jacob went shopping to get supplies with me and then he painted all the letters while I assembled the frame/foam board and clips - and added a picture hanger on back to hang it (clearnance frame at Hobby Lobby!)
next day Ryan took his bike out with his new helmet (brand new at consignment slae for $2 WOO HOO!)
then the boys "helped" Hank relax in the pool :) We had a great weekend!
Last night on our local news we heard about Smithsonian Magazine Free Museum Day. So we took advantage and took our boys to Thronateeska Heritage Center here in Albany and toured their train museum, planetarium and all the other fun exhibits. We especially enjoyed the Fox 31 Weather desk where we practiced our broadcasting skills and had a ton of fun with the green screen! Jacob LOVED the planetarium show as did Ryan who pointed out when the lights came "on" and when they went "off!" He also pointed out all the circles he saw during the show. We also had some awesome BBQ downtown and then came home for naps. A great Saturday indeed.
