Cherios

So yesterday (and most of the week) Jacob has had a stomach bug and then he passed it on to me. I felt so bad yesterday that I put him on auto-pilot for breakfast. I handed him cherios and his juice and he enjoyed shaking the baggie upsidedown. Then he really enjoyed eating them off the floor - he'd step on them and then eat them at random. Just like a little bird :) oh well - at least he ate something right!

This week I watched some TV - I sit like my mommy used to when she was little...

I finally grew into my new kicks that Uncle Pete got me for my birthday. They blink when I walk - they are very cool!

Learning is fun!

Yesterday I put Jacob through a quiz of all the object/words I've been trying to teach him. He was on a roll as I would say "go find the..." - he would go right to these.... blue ball, yellow ball, truck, boat, piano, airplane, cup, blocks, book. It's amazing how quickly he's remembering stuff more than he used to. This week we are working on the shape-sorter toy. I'm trying to teach him to match up the shapes and colors. YAY Jacob!

My Busy Saturday

Today was a fun and busy day for me. I like playing in my room now. Here's me playing with my cool "Jacob" puzzle I got for Christmas from Uncle Pete and Aunt Jenni

Here's me sitting at my Snoopy table that Grammy and Grampa got me when I was born. I have to have help getting in the chair - but I can get out by myself. My feet don't quite touch the ground.

After playing at my table, I decided it was time to do some reading. I like my flap books a lot!!

Fun Sunday

Today was a fun and relaxing day. We enjoyed playing with Jacob. He showed us his belly button, he played peek-a-boo, and he tried the trombone! Check out the video:

15 Month Check-Up

Today we took Jacob for his 15 month apointment. Doc says he's doing excellent and growing big. He grew a little over an inch in the past 3 months so he's quite tall and can reach alot more stuff! He's getting bolder on the walking. He now walks across the room at least 6 steps before falling on top of his toys - or like today - on mommy's face :) Yep - he just stepped right over me and didn't miss a beat.

Back home safely

We sure had fun in Louisiana at Papaw & Grammaw's. Here's a picture of me playing with one of mommy's old toys. It's a really loud lawnmower that I enjoyed "mowing" the halls :)

We are enjoying being back home with daddy. He starts back to school on Friday. That's about it.... Mommy put a few new pictures on my website from our trip in Louisiana.

Fun times in the country

We have had quite a week here at Papaw & Grammaw's out in the country. Today Papaw took me out on his new lawnmower and then we rode the John Deere. Grammaw has read me stories every night and I enjoy getting into her cabinets. Mommy and me are going home on Friday.

Oh....Papaw found one of mommy's old toys! I am trying it out right now. Mommy will put a picture on tomorrow. It's a really loud plastic lawn mower! It makes lots of noise - especially on the wood floor :) I can't wait to play with it at Christmas when we come back to visit.
