Lake Party

Saturday we went to a friend's lake house on Lake Eufala (border between Georgia and Alabama). We've had a drought for about 6 weeks now and don't you know the one day we have an outdoor activity planned, it rains and is 60 degrees! Oh well - we got Jacob on the boat for a ride and he seemed to enjoy it (despite the picture). After the ride it started to really come down so we had to stay indoors the rest of the time. Oh well - we sure need the rain around here. The smoke smell has finally gone away.

Gramma and Papaw are coming this week so we are excited. Dad (Papaw) is also towing our new car so I can't wait for that. We have been looking for about a month and he found the best deal in Louisiana, so we bought it and they are bringing it to us on Thursday. We are getting a 2006 Ford Escape. We'll put a pic on later in the week.

We are enjoying the summer as Hank is home and we are just relaxing every day - it's awsome!
