First "Real" Hair Cut

Hi everyone. We made it home safely from our trip to Grammy & Grandpa's. Today daddy and I got our hair cut. It was my first "real" hair cut at the barber. I sat up in the chair like a big boy and didn't cry or fuss - even when she turned on the clippers. Mommy and Daddy think I look real handsome :)

NEW VIDEOS!!

Jacob's Daddy here:
I am in the process of posting new videos on PutFile.
When I say "new," I mean "new to you." In other words, these are from Thanksgiving. We're getting caught up, and hopefully the Christmas videos will be up by Thursday. You don't want to miss the video of Mom giving Jacob a bath!

Anyway, here's one from November:
http://media.putfile.com/Jacob-Giggles-95

And that will probably be the last one on putfile, because after trying Google Videos with the next one, I'm never going back! It's a neat video of Jacob enjoying his first tractor ride with Papaw Spell.

Enjoy! Christmas videos will be up soon.

More Christmas Pictures :)

More pictures ... hopefully this time you can click on them to see the larger version.

Here I am with Grampa, sporting our Santa hats. Mine is a little big, but I'm sure it will fit perfectly next year!
Grammy liked showing me how to use my new hammer. It lights up and makes funny noises every time you boink something with it! (I don't think she was supposed to boink ME with it, though!)
I had some yummy Christmas dinner -- peas and green beans! Mmmm!
Here's our Christmas tree with all the presents.
(Note from Jacob's dad: We sure miss everyone! We definitely have to get together this summer, if not before. Tammy and Jacob and I loved being here, but it just wasn't the same without everyone else here!)

Have a Merry Christmas, everyone!

Merry Christmas!

This is first thing Christmas Morning. I'm wearing my Christmas "sack".

This is Grandpa with his Ale 8 bell. He says thanks to Uncle Queep - it's really cool! This is me and mommy with my sock. Grammy got me this cool puppy hat and mittens. Then we got to the big presents. I got this cool Noah's ark and it has lots of pieces for me to chew on!Thanks Uncle Pete and Aunt Jenni and Cousin Ben for this awsome puzzle with my name on it! Grammy likes turtles and she got me this squishy turtle book. It's yummy! Grandpa likes trains so he got me this cool shirt that says "chugga chugga" and pants to match. Then we ate the yummy dinner and daddy gave me the goose drumstick to chew on. It was sooooo good.Back to presents...I love this gator. It makes cool sounds and for some reason dad REALLY liked it?Ah, end of the day and me and mom are taking a rest on the floor. We both ate way too much today.

Photo Update

I'm sure everyone has been wondering exactly what we've been up to here in Arkansas. Here are a few photos to help you get the idea:

First off, I love riding in Grammy's bird. It's a swan or a goose or something like that.

Of course, I like to be held. Grampa is good at holding me. He is very careful, though - I guess he doesn't want me to mess up his shirt and tie!

I like to look at the Christmas tree. Of course, everyone knows that you look with your HANDS (and your mouth).

It's colder here in Arkansas than it is back home in Georgia, so Mommy and Daddy like to dress me extra warm, especially at night.

Bath time! Grammy gives good baths.

So there you have it! Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, so we're going to church in the morning and again at night. I bet the people there will think I'm cute, too!

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Getting ready for Christmas

Once again, Daddy is helping me with my blog.
We are having fun in Fort Smith with Grammy and Grampa. Yesterday we went shopping. We went to the mall, then we went to the TOY STORE! Grammy said Mommy and Daddy should be glad that I don't run all over the store grabbing things and screaming. I think next year will be different. Right now, moving around on my own seems like too much trouble! Why would I mess with that when I can get Mommy or Daddy to pick me up and take me wherever I need to go?
Anyway, after shopping we went to Bob and Wendy's restaurant for some catfish. At least, everyone else ate catfish. I sat in the high chair and practiced throwing my toys.
I think today I'm going to spend the afternoon with Grammy and Grampa while Mommy and Daddy "get lost" for a little while. That will be fun!
Sorry there's no pictures this time. I'll have some next time, I promise!

We're in Arkansas!

Hi everyone! Daddy is helping me on my blog again.

We spent most of Tuesday getting ready for our trip. Mommy and Daddy started to pack me in a suitcase, but then they decided I should stay with them. I was glad, because that suitcase was pretty small!

Yesterday I had my first plane ride! Daddy woke me up at 2:30 a.m. I didn't protest too much -- I figured, hey, I used to wake them up at 2:30 a.m. all the time! Daddy put me in the car, and we went to Atlanta. I slept most of the way, except when Mommy and Daddy stopped at a Wal-Mart at 4:30 a.m. because they left my bottle in the fridge!

We had a lot of stuff to haul around, that's for sure. Lots of people told Mommy and Daddy how cute I was, then commented on how much "extra stuff" they had. I don't see what the big deal is. My car seat, my stroller, my bed, my toys, my diapers -- those aren't "extra!" Don't worry, though; I did my part to help carry stuff around the airport:
Mommy and Daddy said I did a great job on the plane. I slept for most of the flight from Atlanta to Dallas; then I played the rest of the time. It was fun, especially since I got to sit by the window!

Mommy and Daddy ran (while I enjoyed the ride) to catch the next plane. We got there in plenty of time. That plane was a lot smaller; it took us to Fayettville. Grammy and Grandpa were there to meet us and take us home in Grandpa's loud car. (Note from Daddy: Dad/Grandpa thought there was a hole in the muffler, but it turns out something is messed up with a valve in the exhaust system. So we're stuck with a "white trash" Pacifica for a while.)

So now we're having fun at Grammy and Grandpa's house. I was so excited I woke up this morning at 5 a.m.!!! Daddy was a lot less excited than me, I guess, because he didn't seem too happy when he got me out of the crib.

One more picture before I go. This one is of me (of course) playing with Grammy and her stuffed sheep and Torpy, the seal.
More to come, I'm sure. Don't worry, Aunt Baby ... I'll be sure to bug Mommy and/or Daddy into helping me post more updates before Christmas.

Let the travels begin!

Hi everyone. We are in Jacksonville for a few days. I have been visitng some of mommy and daddy's friends and have been quite the ham-bone! We head back home on Monday and then early early early Wednesday morning, we drive to Atlanta to catch a plane to Arkansas. We are having fun here in Florida and can't wait for Christmas. Oh, I just wanted to say that I tried to "eat" our Christsmas tree the other day. Daddy held me too close and I grabbed a branch and just about got a good bite when I was pulled away. Hope you are all enjoying the holiday season. We sure are!

My First Cold

Hi. Over the weekend I got a cold. Not sure what that is, but my nose and eyes seem to be like the faucet in the sink. I even blow bubbles with my nose when I cough. It's pretty cool - but mommy and daddy think it's grose. Oh well. I still smile and play through it all :) Today I go to get the other 1/2 of my flu shot. And this weekend, we are going to see friends in Jacksonville. I can't wait!!

Ready for Christmas

Hi! Mommy got be this cool Santa hat. I really like it. We are going to see Grammy and Grandpa in Arkansas for Christmas! I get to go on my first plane ride. I can't wait! Maybe it will snow - that would be neat (but not on the travel days). Mom said something about cars flipped upsidedown on the back road to Grammy's old house..?? Guess you had to be there.
